A real kitchen transformation

Keep the kitchen you love. Change how it feels.

Tired pine, faded colour and worn cupboard fronts can often be renewed beautifully. Careful preparation and multiple hand-applied coats give your existing kitchen a fresh, lasting finish.

Which kitchens can be repainted?

Most sound kitchens can be given a completely new look

The aim is to give a tired kitchen a new lease of life by carefully repainting the cupboards you already have. The doors, frames and panels need to be sound and suitable for thorough preparation.

Pine & solid woodIncluding older dark-wood kitchens ready for a lighter, fresher colour.
Painted & ShakerIdeal when the layout still works but the colour or original finish looks tired.
Bespoke & hand-builtTraditional cabinetry particularly well suited to a careful hand-painted finish.

Ultra-modern high-gloss finishes are not always suitable. David will give straightforward advice when he sees the kitchen.

Common questions

Do you spray kitchen cupboards?

No. Kitchen Cupboard Painters specialises in traditional hand-finishing with brushes and small rollers. Multiple fine coats create a durable finish that suits painted and hand-built kitchens particularly well.

Will my kitchen be out of use?

The doors and drawer fronts can usually be completed in the workshop. The fixed frames and panels are painted in your home, so disruption is kept much lower than with a full kitchen replacement.

Which colours and paint finish can I choose?

We do not use Farrow & Ball paint itself. Popular Farrow & Ball colour references are mixed by our paint maker into a premium water-based finish, and David adds his paint conditioner before applying it. We can also mix virtually any other paint maker's colour on request.

How much does kitchen cupboard painting cost?

Every kitchen is different, so the number of doors, condition, layout and chosen finish all affect the price. David will inspect the kitchen and leave a free written quotation with no pressure to decide on the day.
